Solar Power Mexico is organized by three leading trade show and event companies in the world: Deutsche Messe, SNEC PV Power Expo, and Solar Power International have joined forces to help develop the Mexican solar energy market.
Due to the levels of daily solar irradiation ranging from 4.4 kWh/m2 to 6.3 kWh/m2 per year, Mexico offers a huge investment and business opportunity in the installation of small to large scale solar systems.
Mexico ranks 5th for expected new capacity by 2021, with 10,000 MW capacity (an 84% growth).
The Federal Government has recently approved the National Electric System Development Program (PRODESEN) with a strong focus on sustainable energy development.
Deutsche Messe attracts exhibitors and visitors since 1947, and currently manages 130 trade shows that are attended by 3.5 million visitors and 40,000 exhibitors. Hannover Fairs Mexico is a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe AG and was established in 2016 with the intention of professionalizing the industry in the country and bringing events of the portfolio to Mexico and in this way to cover the need for internationalization of different economic sectors of the country.
Deutsche Messe organizes CanWEA, Canada’s leading wind energy conference and exhibition, Hydrogen + Fuel Cells NORTH AMERICA, the international meeting point of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Community in the USA, Solar Canada, Canada’s largest solar energy exhibition and conference, and more.
The SNEC PV Power Expo is the world’s largest PV tradeshow based in Shanghai, China. The exhibition scale of SNEC has evolved from 15,000 sqm in 2007 to over 200,000 sqm in 2018 when it attracted over 2,000 exhibiting companies from 95 countries and regions all over the world and the overseas exhibitor ratio is over 30%.
The event is jointly organized by 23 international associations and organizations including the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA).
Solar Power International (SPI) is the largest solar trade show in North America. Over 20,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors come together to learn, network, and grow their business. SPI is co-located with Energy Storage International (ESI), the largest energy storage event in North America. The events are powered by two leading energy associations, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA).
