GDL, JALISCO, February 20, 2020. A partnership agreement between MEM Industrial and Tecnomueble Internacional was entered into today by Hannover Fairs México CEO Bernd Rohde, President of the Jalisco Association of Furniture Manufacturers (Afamjal) Abelardo Arreola Jiménez, Afamjal Commissioner Humberto González Hernández and Afamjal Treasurer Jesús Ignacio Mejía Navarro.
Also present at the signing of the agreement were MEM Industrial Director Azul Ogazón, Coordinator of the Afamjal Exhibition Committee Enrique Ruiz Castro and Expo Guadalajara President Guillermo Cervantes Fernández.
According to Bernd Rohde, MEM Industrial is not only the leading platform in Latin America for wood processing technology, including inputs and accessories for the furniture industry, but, thanks to the recent partnership between MEM Industrial and Tecnomueble Internacional, which is affiliated to Afamjal, “we have become the platform par excellence for the woodworking and furniture industry in all of Latin America.”
Afamjal President Abelardo Arreola Jiménez echoed this sentiment, saying that “the MEM Industrial–Tecnomueble Internacional partnership will benefit the industry enormously, given that it marks the coming together of the two largest tradeshows for the supply of machinery and inputs for the furniture industry in Latin America.”
The 2020 edition of MEM Industrial was held on January 22-24 at Centro Citibanamex, where 130 companies and 200 leading brands from Mexico and abroad participated in an event that reported over 400 million pesos in on-site business.
Tecnomueble Internacional 2020, which will take place on August 19-22, 2020 at Expo Guadalajara, is expected to draw over 150 exhibitors from Mexico and ten other countries, who will be showcasing the latest in furniture-manufacturing technology and materials in Mexico for an audience of an estimated 5,000 visitors.
