SOLAR POWER MEXICO – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Visitors

When will Solar Power Mexico 2020 take place?

Solar Power Mexico 2020 will take place on November 18-20 at Centro Citibanamex, from 12 am to 7 pm.

Why was Solar Power Mexico postponed at such short notice?

Just a few days before the opening of Solar Power Mexico, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 situation a pandemic. To proceed with the event, we would have had to take extreme safety measures, including restrictions that would have prevented our exhibitors and visitors from reaching their goals.

Furthermore, the Mexican Ministry of Health predicted we would enter Phase 2 of COVID-19 around the same date Solar Power Mexico was scheduled to take place.

This was the main reason Hannover Fairs Mexico decided to postpone the second edition of Solar Power Mexico until November 18-20, so as not to put the health of our visitors, exhibitors, employees, suppliers and guests at risk.

What safety precautions will be taken at future events?

Hannover Fairs Mexico is in constant communication with the health authorities, with whom we will decide on the necessary precautions for the November 2020 edition of Solar Power Mexico when the time comes. Right now, we are assuming we will be able to hold the fair in a few months with no restrictions.

I already registered for Solar Power Mexico. Will my registration remain valid for the new dates?

Yes, of course. There is no need to re-register. If you are unable to attend on the new date and wish to have your information removed from our database, please e-mail judith.hahn@hfmexico.mx

I already registered online as a visitor. Do I have to register again?

No, it is not necessary to register again. All online registrations will remain valid for the new date. We will be extending the deadline for those who have not yet had a chance to register.

Will the conference program and other events originally scheduled as part of the fair still be taking place?

Yes, as far as possible we will try to ensure the workshop and conference program goes ahead as planned, with the same contents and guest speakers. We may, however, find it necessary to make some slight changes. Details of the final program will be published on the Solar Power Mexico website (www.solarpowermexico.mx ) in the weeks to come.

I paid for a conference pass. Will it still be valid?

Yes, of course. Your pass will still be valid for the November 2020 edition of Solar Power Mexico.

Will Hannover Fairs Mexico reimburse me for travel, hotel and other such expenses incurred due to the postponement of the event?

No, Hannover Fairs México assumes no liability for service agreements entered into with third parties, which are deemed an exclusive relationship between the parties involved, and will therefore not reimburse any such expenses.
