SOLAR POWER MEXICO – FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Exhibitors

When will Solar Power Mexico 2020 take place now that its postponement has been announced?

November 18-20 at Centro Citibanamex, from 12 am to 7 pm.

Why was Solar Power Mexico postponed at such short notice?

Just a few days before the opening of Solar Power Mexico, the World Health Organization declared the COVID-19 situation a pandemic. To proceed with the event, we would have had to take extreme safety measures, including restrictions that would have prevented our exhibitors and visitors from reaching their goals.

But the main reason Hannover Fairs México decided to postpone the second edition of Solar Power Mexico until November 18-20 was so as not to put the health of our visitors, exhibitors, employees, suppliers and guests at risk.

What safety precautions will be taken at future events?

Hannover Fairs México is in constant communication with the health authorities, with whom we will decide on the necessary precautions for the November 2020 edition of Solar Power Mexico when the time comes. Right now, we are assuming we will be able to hold the fair in a few months with no restrictions.

I’ve just read that the fair has been postponed. What now?

Solar Power Mexico has been postponed until November 18-20, 2020. We will be reaching out directly to all exhibitors and sponsors. Our team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and we will be only too happy to help you plan your upcoming participation.

All services hired, such as the use of facilities and stands, will remain unchanged, including sponsorship opportunities, and the conference program will go ahead as planned as far as possible on the new date.

What if I no longer want to participate as an exhibitor?

Clause 22 of the Terms and Conditions section of the agreement entered into with Solar Power Mexico states that Hannover Fairs Mexico is entitled to change the date of the event under circumstances of force majeure, such as the scenario we experienced with COVID-19. In the event of a cancellation, the exhibitor will still be obliged to cover the participation fee or sponsorship in full.

Will deadlines for payment also be postponed or will they remain unchanged?

We would ask you to plan your payments in the assumption that the conditions of payment originally agreed to remain valid.

Will existing agreements and services reserved remain valid?

Yes, all services reserved and existing agreements will remain in force for the new dates.

I am an exhibitor and will be participating in the November event. Will the map of the exhibition floor remain as is on the new date?

Some slight modifications to the layout may be required, depending on the number of exhibitors attending, but if these directly affect any stand, we will contact the exhibitor in question in due course.

Will changes be made to the cost of stands and/or services for the new date?

For the time being, stand and service prices will remain unchanged.

What are the new mounting and dismounting dates?

Mounting will take place on Monday, November 16 and Tuesday, November 17, 2020, while stands need to be dismantled on November 20 (after 8:00 pm) and November 21, 2020.

Can I change the size of my stand?

Yes, exhibitors can request a different sized stand, but the sooner you submit your request, the easier it will be for the Hannover Fairs Mexico team to find a solution that meets your needs, given that availability is limited. We may, however, find it necessary to make some slight changes. Details of the final program will be published on the Solar Power Mexico website(www.solarpowermexico.mx ) in the weeks to come.

Will Hannover Fairs Mexico reimburse me for catering, travel, hotel and other such expenses incurred due to the postponement of the event?
