SOLAR POWER MEXICO POSTPONED UNTIL 2021

Mexico City, October 5, 2020. Mrs. Yue Mi, Director of SNEC PV Power Expo; Mr. Stephen Miner, President and CEO of Solar Energy Trade Shows; and Mr. Bernd Rohde, CEO of Hannover Fairs Mexico, today announced that Solar Power México (SPM), the leading photovoltaic and storage tradeshow in Mexico and Latin America, will take place on November 9-11, 2021.

“The decision can be attributed to the latest developments in the coronavirus pandemic, in view of which our clients (exhibitors and attendees) have asked for SPM to be postponed. It should be noted that over 50% of our exhibitors and visitors come from abroad, so we believe postponing the event is the best course of action to ensure the safety of our community,” said Mrs. Yue.

“Solar Power México will now take place on November 9-11, 2021. This date was selected and agreed upon by our Advisory Board and strategic allies, and we believe it to be the best option given the current circumstances,” added Mr. Miner.

“We value the support of all those involved in the event, from our partners and visitors to our suppliers, local authorities, the Citibanamex exhibition center and, above all, our exhibitors in this important industry. Thank you for your understanding and support. This is a global challenge, but our community is strong. We look forward to seeing you at the second edition of Solar Power Mexico on November 9-11, 2021 as we continue to light the way,” said Mr. Rohde.
